Scope of contract;
The project includes feasibility studies with the goal of establishing an integrated solid waste management system in Ganja city of Azerbaijan with a population of approximately 400,000. Teknik TEMPO as a regional partner of the international consulting consortium; preparation of the present situation report reflecting the existing waste management situation, Assessment of the alternatives for waste disposal systems by technical and financial aspects, realization of the land survey and map measurement studies on the planned new waste disposal site, waste analysis study, determination of future investments and concepdesign, Preparation of preliminary designs for a new 3 million m3 capacity landfill site consisting of 3 parts in 25 ha area, closure and rehabilitation of existing wild storage areas, 50,400 ton capacity waste separation plant annually for the separation of recyclable wastes , medical waste sterilization facility as well as initial Environmental Impact Assessment studies.
